Nanded Murder: A heart-wrenching incident in Nanded district of Maharashtra has shocked everyone. 21 year old Aanchal proved that even death cannot break their relationship by marrying her lover’s dead body. The lover was murdered by her own father and two brothers. Aanchal’s cry after reaching her lover’s house and demanding that his family be hanged and performing the marriage rituals by holding the dead body’s hand went viral on social media. Police said that her boyfriend Saksham Tate (20) was standing with his friends in Purana Ganj area on Thursday evening. During this time, a fight broke out between him and Aanchal’s brother Himesh Mamidwar. The officer said that Himesh fired at Saksham. The bullet hit his ribs. After this, a stone was thrown on Saksham’s head, due to which he died on the spot.
Family members were against the relationship
Police said that Himesh, his brother Sahil (25) and his father Gajanan Mamidwar (45) were immediately arrested. Eyewitnesses said that a distraught Aanchal married her lover’s dead body, saying that this would make their love immortal. Anchal demanded death penalty for his father and brothers for Saksham’s murder. Said that I was in love with Saksham for the last three years, but my father was against our relationship due to caste differences. My family members often threatened to kill Saksham. Now my father, brothers Himesh and Sahil have also done the same. I want justice. I want the accused to be given death sentence. Aanchal said that now she will stay in Saksham’s house only.
Murder case against six people
Police said that both Saksham and main accused Himesh are history-sheeters. Both were once close friends. Police said that the Mamidwar family was opposed to Aanchal’s relationship with Saksham, but due to the refusal of both of them to end it, Saksham was ultimately murdered. Itwara police station official said that in the case registered under the Indian Justice Code, SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act and Arms Act, six people have been charged with murder, unlawful assembly, rioting and other crimes.
