Arunachal Pradesh AI Programme: The Arunachal Pradesh government has started a program to keep the state ahead in the world of technology. The Arunachal government on Tuesday launched a program to provide industry-relevant training in Artificial Intelligence (AI) to college students and recent graduates. This program will be run in collaboration with the state IT department, Rancho Labs and Technology Innovation Hub of IIT-Delhi.

Program will instill confidence in youth

Announcing the launch, Deputy Chief Minister Chovana Mein said the program is designed to strengthen the state’s youth workforce by providing them training that keeps pace with advances in global technology. “This program will teach young learners artificial intelligence, data analysis, Python programming and other essential skills to become job ready,” the deputy CM said in a post on X. This, he said, will help them build a high-growth career in the tech sector with confidence.

When will training start

Mein said the government wants to ensure that the state’s students are not left behind as AI and machine learning are constantly changing industry and job patterns. He appealed to the students across the state to take advantage of this opportunity and called it an important step in creating a future ready generation. This training will be offline in Itanagar from the second week of January and will run for five to six weeks with daily two-hour sessions.

Participants will receive instructor-led lessons on AI and machine learning fundamentals, data analysis and visualization, Python programming, real-world project development, and career preparation. Officials said that this training is completely free. All expenses will be covered by the state government. This training promises industry mentorship, hands-on project exposure, internship and job readiness support. Registration for the program has started.
