CM Women Employment Scheme: This scheme of Rs 7,500 crore of Bihar’s NDA government is aimed at promoting women empowerment through self -employment and livelihood opportunities.
CM Women Employment Scheme: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday launched the Chief Minister of Bihar, Mahila Rojgar Yojana scheme. Modi transferred 10-10 thousand rupees to bank accounts of 75 lakh women. This scheme of Rs 7,500 crore of Bihar’s NDA government is aimed at promoting women empowerment through self -employment and livelihood opportunities. The Prime Minister launched the scheme from Delhi virtual through virtual, in which Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary and other ministers joined through a video conference from Patna. A large number of women of the state also joined it through virtual medium. The inauguration of this scheme is important before the upcoming assembly elections in the state. An official statement said that under this scheme, a woman from each family will be provided financial assistance for livelihood activities of their choice, which will promote economic freedom and social empowerment.
An additional Rs 2 lakh will also be received
Each beneficiary will get an initial grant of Rs 10,000 through direct profit transfer. In case of proper use of the amount, additional financial assistance of up to Rs 2 lakh will also be given in later stages. The statement said that aid can be used in the fields of beneficiary’s choice, including agriculture, animal husbandry, handicrafts, sewing, weaving and other short-level enterprises. The statement said that the scheme is a community operated in which community resources associated with self-help groups will provide training to support women’s efforts along with financial assistance. Rural Haat Markets will be further developed in the state to support their produce sales.
Honors of women returned in Nitish Raj
