Kanpur: Three people died in a horrific road accident in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday, while two were seriously injured. After the accident, there was a jam on the spot. Police reached the information and rushed the injured to the nearby hospital, where the doctors referred the higher center after seeing the critical condition. Police removed the accident and made the traffic smooth. On Tuesday, three people were killed and two were seriously injured in a car and a private bus collision.
Assistant Police Commissioner (Kalyanpur) Abhishek Pandey told PTI that the incident took place on GT Road in Naramaau in Bithoor area, when the car was going from Naramaau to Unnao, during which the car driver hit a motorcycle first while turning towards the CNG station and then tried to run away. In this chaos, the driver of the car hit the bus fiercely.
The ACP said that on receiving information about the accident, Bithoor police reached the spot. The police broke the windows of the car with the help of the people and took out the people in it and took them to the hospital. The doctors declared Akanksha Mishra (30) resident of Shivli Road and Anjula Mishra (32) resident of Barra. She both worked as a teacher.
Driver escaped leaving the bus after the accident
Pandey said that Vishal Dwivedi (25), a resident of car driver Kalyanpur, died during treatment. He said that the condition of Richa Awasthi and Ashok Kumar, two other people in the car, remains critical. The bodies have been sent for post -mortem and the incident is being investigated. He told that the bus driver left the vehicle and escaped from the spot. Police said that the bus has been confiscated. The incident is being investigated.
