This procession was taken out from Shri Bala Ji temple of Hallu Sarai under tight security, in which slogans of “Jai Bajrangbali” were echoed in the city. This procession passed through many areas. A series of devotional programs started from morning at Shri Bala Ji Temple of Hallu Sarai. The security system was quite strict. Police and Provincial Armed Forces (PAC) personnel were huge deployment across the city and on the way to the procession. Nitesh Chandra, a trustee of Shri Bala Ji Temple, told PTI that the procession started from Hallu Sarai and turned around in the entire city.
Lord Hanuman was dressed in the morning. After this, Aarti, Havan and Bhakti songs were sung. After this, there will be night awakening and a mass banquet will be organized tomorrow. It is to be known that on November 24, violence erupted in the city during the survey conducted on the court’s order of a mosque in Kot Garvi area of the city. Four people died and many others were injured in this clash. The order of the survey was given on a petition claiming that the mosque stands in place of a demolished Hindu temple. Since this incident, there has been a situation of communal tension in Sambhal.
