In such a situation, Abbas Ansari has got relief. During this time, a single bench of Justice Sameer Jain has banned his sentence in the Hate Speech case and has restored his assembly membership. Today this verdict has been pronounced since the launch. In the last hearing, the court reserved the verdict.
Abbas was punished
Please tell that the court had sentenced Abbas to 2 years and imposed a fine of Rs 3000. Abbas also turned to the district court against the decision of the MPMLA court but his petition was dismissed. After which he reached the High Court. In the 2022 election, Abbas and his family were in the Samajwadi Party, but Mau Sadar seat in Alliance went to Om Prakash Rajbhar party with Subhaspa. After which Abbas contested from here.
Officers were threatened
Significantly, during the assembly elections on March 3, 2022, Abbas Ansari threatened the officials to see the election public meeting. Since then, an FIR was lodged against Abbas Ansari, his brother Umar Ansari and 150 people on March 4, 2022.

During this time, Abbas in his speech had talked about calculating the officials. The Election Commission took cognizance of his statement and took action. After this, an FIR was lodged against Abbas. In this case, on May 31, 2025, the CJM court sentenced Abbas to two years and a fine of Rs 3,000. But the state government can go to the Supreme Court against the decision of the Allahabad High Court.
