During this time 7 degree temperature dropped. At the same time, according to the Meteorological Department, the same weather is going to remain in Delhi for the next few days. During this time, the possibility of light to moderate rain has been expressed. At the same time, cold winds are also expected to run. For the first time in this season, people have started feeling light winter. According to IMD, light to moderate rain is expected in many areas on 7 October, which will continue this pleasant phase.

How much mercury rolled in Delhi?

On the morning of October 6, when the Delhiites woke up, the sky was cloudy and light rain was soaking the roads. The sun did not see throughout the day and kept on spraying in between. Due to this, the temperature was recorded 7.7 degrees below normal i.e. 26.5 degrees Celsius. However, the minimum temperature reached 21 degrees Celsius, causing the coolness to be realized.

At the same time, in the coming days, the capital will be cold and cloudy between 8 to 12 October and light to moderate rain may occur. Due to the effect of western disturbance, heavy rains and snowfall are coming in the mountainous areas of North India. Its effect is being seen till Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Vidarbha.

Delhi’s air improvement

The rain has also cleared the air of Delhi. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the capital’s AQI 105 was recorded on Monday, which falls in the ‘medium’ category, which was at 159 on October 5, i.e. in 24 hours, a decline of 54 points was recorded in 24 hours.
