Directed by Sajia Iqbal, ‘Dhadak 2’ is the Hindi remake of South Indian Movie Pariyarum Perumal, which is released in the year 2018. It is also a sequel to Ishaan Khattar and Jahnavi Kapoor’s debut film ‘Dhadak’ in the year 2018. The story of the film is based on a serious issue like casteism, which has been introduced with a college love story. The story of ‘Dhadak 2’ is the story of Nilesh Ahirwar (Siddhant Chaturvedi) and Vidhi Bhardwaj. Nilesh is a law student who falls in love with his classmate method. The love of both collides with the stereotypes of the society and Nilesh has to face a lot due to his cast.

‘Dhadak 2’ has earned Rs 14.50 crore in the first week of release. This film of Siddhant and Trupti is getting a tough competition from a blockbuster like ‘Saira’ at the box office, which is moving towards 500 crore club.
