US Deported Indians: The government said on Thursday that since January, America has sent back at least 2,790 Indian citizens who were living illegally in America.

US Deported Indians: After assuming power, the American President launched a campaign against people living illegally, under which all illegal immigrants were sent back to their country. Similarly, America also sent Indian citizens living illegally to India, whose number is shocking. The Central Government informed on Thursday that America has sent back 2,790 Indian citizens living illegally.
Foreign Ministry gave information
The government said on Thursday that since January, America has sent back at least 2,790 Indian citizens who were living illegally in America. External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal shared this number in his weekly media briefing in response to a question. He said, “Since January this year, there are more than 2,790 Indian nationals who did not meet these criteria. They were staying there illegally. We confirmed their identity and their nationality and they have returned. This was the situation till yesterday i.e. October 29.”
More than 100 Indians also came from Britain
Jaiswal was also asked about the number of Indian citizens deported from Britain so far this year. Jaiswal said, “About 100 Indian citizens have been deported from Britain this year after duly confirming their nationality.” It is noteworthy that the Trump administration has been taking strict action against citizens living illegally in America since the beginning of this year. Under this action, Indian citizens are being deported after identification. Large scale anti-immigration protests are also taking place in Britain.
Controversy over illegal immigrants
Let us tell you, in February this year, 104 illegal immigrants from America were sent back to India, when there was a huge uproar in India. There was anger in India over the treatment of the Indians being deported by the American government. American officials had sent the migrants to India in shackles. The opposition attacked the government on such behavior and demanded that they talk to the US government against it.
