Major sectors in these projects are industry, power transmission, roads, railways, defence, petroleum and natural gas. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said that for ‘developed India’, ‘developed Andhra’ is needed. Alleged that the previous Congress government pushed India backward by ignoring the merits of Andhra Pradesh, but now the image of the state is changing under the NDA rule. India is getting respect on the global stage
Addressing a program in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh, Modi said that looking at the fast pace of development, I can say that in 2047, when 100 years of independence will be completed, India will be developed. I have full faith that the 21st century will be India’s century. Said that under the double engine government, we are further increasing the capacity of Andhra Pradesh. Prime Minister Modi said that Andhra Pradesh is a land of pride and rich culture as well as a center of science and innovation. At present Delhi and Amravati are working together and moving forward on the path of development. Earlier, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said that I have worked with many Prime Ministers, but have never seen a leader like him. He is working tirelessly and it is because of him that India is progressing so fast and India is getting due respect on the global stage.
Today electricity reaches every village in the country
He said that today electricity has reached every village in the country. Said that we are focusing on connectivity from villages to cities and from cities to ports. The new highway will further increase connectivity between Subbaram Chilanagar and surrounding areas. Prime Minister Modi said that energy security is very important for the development of any country or state. He said that today a transmission project worth about Rs 3,000 crore has been launched in the power sector. This will increase India’s energy capacity. PM laid the foundation stone of a six-lane greenfield highway from Sabbavaram to Sheelanagar at a cost of over Rs 960 crore. The project aims to reduce congestion, facilitate trade and employment in the port city of Visakhapatnam. Apart from this, PM inaugurated four lanes of Pileru-Kalur section road. Additionally, Modi laid the foundation stone and inaugurated railway projects worth over Rs 1,200 crore. He laid the foundation stone of Kothavalasa-Vizianagaram fourth railway line and rail flyover between Pendurthi and Simhachalam North.
