Anant Singh Arrested : Before the assembly elections in Bihar, the police has taken major action in the Dularchand Yadav murder case and arrested muscleman Anant Singh. Since then there has been a stir in the politics of Mokama. Let us tell you that a few days ago, Dularchand Yadav was shot dead, the blame for which was on Anant Singh, after which the police has taken major action and he has been arrested. Patna’s SSP gave information regarding this.
Anant Singh got Dularchand murdered
Regarding this incident, Patna SSP Karthikeya K Sharma said that on October 30, there was a clash between the groups of two candidates and stones were pelted due to which many people were injured. After this incident, a body was recovered which was of Dularchand Yadav, who was a resident of the same village where the clash took place. Later, complaints were lodged from both the parties and the police started investigation. On the basis of evidence, statements of eyewitnesses and post mortem report of the deceased, it is coming to light that the Model Code of Conduct was violated and this is a serious matter. But it has been found that all these incidents took place in the presence of Anant Singh, who is also the main accused in this case. Since then, Anant Singh has been arrested and his associates Manikant Thakur and Ranjit Ram have also been detained.
Timeline of Anant Singh’s arrest
If information is to be believed, the Patna Police team was engaged in the investigation of the murder of Dularchand Yadav in Mokama. During the investigation, when Patna SSP Kartikeya Sharma reached Barh’s Kargil Market at 11:10 pm, Anant Singh was present there along with his supporters. On the spot, SSP talked to Anant Singh and based on initial findings, took him into custody at 11:45 and left from Barh. SSP held a press conference at 2 o’clock in the night regarding this entire incident and gave information about this entire incident and confirmed the arrest.

All three accused were arrested
In the press conference, Patna SSP Karthikeya K Sharma also told that three people have been arrested on charges of murder and raids are being conducted to arrest the remaining people. More arrests will be made soon. During this, he also informed that CID has started investigating the case. A complaint has been registered under various sections. People from both groups have been arrested for misbehaving with the police and creating law and order problems.
Patna DM appeals to Election Commission
Describing the entire incident, Patna DM Dr. Thyagarajan SM said that the district administration and police have taken the incident in Mokama assembly constituency very seriously. We have taken several actions in this matter. The Model Code of Conduct is a strong pillar of the entire election process. As per the instructions of the Election Commission, we are committed to ensuring free and fair elections. He further said that if any anti-social element tries to go against the law or the model code of conduct, strict action will be taken.
