BCCI News: Police has taken strict action against the alleged misbehavior with the Australian cricketer and arrested the person who molested him. Meanwhile, BCCI said that the security protocol will be stricter than before.
BCCI News : The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is strict on the incident of molestation of Australia women’s cricket team in Indore on Saturday. BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia has expressed a lot of displeasure. The BCCI has condemned the alleged incident of molestation of two cricketers and has promised to reconsider its security protocols ahead of the knock-out stage of the World Cup. It has also been decided to take strict action on this. It is being told that both the cricketers came out of their hotel and were going towards the cafe, when a man riding a motorcycle started chasing them. During this, he allegedly touched one of them inappropriately and ran away.
BCCI strongly condemned
In this case, the police arrested the person in this incident which took place in Khajrana Road area of the city on Thursday morning. Meanwhile, BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia issued a statement and said that this is a very condemnable, but sudden incident. India is known for its hospitality and care. We have no tolerance for such incidents. We appreciate the state police for taking prompt action to arrest the culprit. He said that let the law take its course to punish the criminal. We assure you to revisit our security protocols whenever necessary to further tighten security. Apart from this, Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association also expressed deep sorrow over this condemnable incident and said that no one should suffer such trauma.

MPCA is extremely saddened and shocked by the incident that happened with two players of the Australian women’s cricket team in Indore.
