Al Falah University got notice from NAAC: Al Falah University, which became the center of Faridabad Terror Module, has now been lashed by the government. The terrorist doctors arrested in the Delhi blasts have connections with Al Falah University located in Faridabad. Officials informed on Thursday that the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has issued a show cause notice to Al Falah University for showing wrong certification on its website. A bomb disposal squad has also reached Al-Falah University in connection with the investigation.
Al Falah University is not accredited by NAAC
National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) is an autonomous government body that evaluates and certifies the quality of higher education institutions such as colleges and universities. In the show cause notice, NAAC said it has found that the university is neither affiliated with NAAC nor has it applied for the same. Additionally, the university has publicly displayed on its website that some of its colleges are NAAC-certified.

“Al Falah University is a venture of the Al Falah Charitable Trust, which runs three colleges on the campus: Al Falah School of Engineering and Technology (since 1997, Grade A by NAAC), Brown Hill College of Engineering and Technology (since 2008) and Al Falah School of Education and Training (since 2006, Grade A by NAAC),” the notice reads on the website. “This is completely false and misleading to the public, especially parents, students and stakeholders,” the NAAC notice said.
recognition ended
NAAC has sought clarification from the university and directed it to remove portions from its website and other publicly available documents that falsely claim NAAC certification. The notice said that the recognition of Al Falah School of Engineering and Technology had expired in 2018, while the recognition of Al Falah School of Education and Training had expired in 2016. “The recognition of both the colleges has lapsed. Both the colleges have not yet voluntarily applied for the new assessment and accreditation process of NAAC,” the notice said.
