Islamabad Car Blast: After Delhi, there has been a big explosion in Pakistan’s capital Islamabad. Today on Tuesday afternoon, there was a massive explosion in a car parked outside the court. 12 people have died in this blast and 20 people are said to be injured. This blast created a stir in the court premises. In the initial investigation it is being described as a suicide attack. Officials have started investigation. Home Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the blast site and promised justice.
12 people died
The blast occurred around 12:30 in the afternoon, when a huge crowd was present in the court. People present at the spot said that the explosion was so powerful that the vehicles parked nearby were also damaged and the glass of many shops were broken. 12 people have died in this suicide attack and more than 20 injured have been admitted to the hospital. Police have sealed the incident site and started investigation. Surprisingly, the blast in Pakistan happened only a few hours after the blast in India.
Defense Minister told Afghanistan connection
Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has called this incident a serious challenge. He said, ‘We are in a state of war. This attack has been carried out by terrorists from Afghanistan, which Pakistan is fully capable of stopping. He said that this is not just a matter of border or Balochistan, but is a threat to the entire Pakistan. In the initial investigation, it is believed that this blast could have happened from the cylinder installed in the car. Police is also investigating from the angle of suicide attack. Most of the injured are said to be lawyers and court employees. Police and bomb disposal squad have reached the spot and are investigating the attack.
Explosion near Red Fort
Let us tell you, there was a massive explosion last evening near the Red Fort in the capital Delhi. The blast took place at 6:55 pm in a car parked in the parking lot. 12 people died in this blast and more than 24 injured are undergoing treatment in the hospital. Earlier, 2,900 kg of explosives and inflammable substances were recovered from two rented rooms of a Kashmiri doctor Mohammad Muzammil in Faridabad. Police have arrested 8 suspects including three terrorist doctors. After this blast, panic has spread in the capital. Police are on high alert in Delhi, Haryana and UP.
