Bihar Election Result: The results of Bihar Assembly elections have once again proved how important and powerful is the combination of experience and public support in politics. The NDA in power has cleared the way for forming the government again by defeating the Grand Alliance. The special thing is that out of the 25 ministers of the state who contested the elections, 24 returned after winning from their respective constituencies. Only one minister could not save his seat.

try your luck

First of all, let’s talk about Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, who are from BJP. Both of them won their respective seats Tarapur and Lakhisarai. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar did not contest the elections this time because he is a member of the Legislative Council. At the same time, a total of 15 ministers of BJP tried their luck in this election. The special thing is that they all won. Agriculture Minister Prem Kumar created history by winning from Gaya Town for the 8th consecutive time. This record was equaled by JDU’s Bijendra Yadav, who won the elections from Supaul for the 8th time.

hold intact

Raju Kumar Singh contesting from Sahebganj also won. The interesting thing is that he won on VIP Party ticket in the year 2020 and then joined BJP. This time he retained his hold on BJP ticket also. Apart from this, BJP’s Sanjay Saraogi (Darbhanga) and Nitin Naveen (Bankipur) won their seats for the 5th consecutive time. Besides, Renu Devi (Bettiah), Nitish Mishra (Jhanjharpur), Neeraj Kumar Singh ‘Bablu’ (Chhatapur), Kedar Prasad Gupta (Kurhani), Jeevesh Kumar (Jaale), Krishnanandan Paswan (Harsiddhi), Vijay Kumar Mandal, Krishna Kumar Mantu (Amnaur) and Sunil Kumar (Bihar Sharif) also emerged victorious from their respective seats.

face defeat

However, amidst these strong results of NDA, one minister also had to face defeat. Sumit Kumar Singh, who won as an independent in the year 2020 and later became a minister, could not save his seat this time. Sumit Singh, who was contesting on JDU ticket, was defeated by RJD candidate Savitri Devi by about 13,000 votes. This is the same Savitri Devi, whom Sumit had defeated 5 years ago. Sumit Kumar Singh is the son of late Narendra Singh, who was a special aide of Nitish Kumar and a senior minister of the state. In the previous government, Sumit Singh had got the responsibility of Science, Technology and Education Department.

Name included in victory

JDU ministers who have won the Bihar elections include Sheela Kumari (Phulparas), Leshi Singh (Dhamdaha), Ratnesh Sada (Sonbarsa), Madan Sahni (Bahadurpur), Vijay Kumar Choudhary (Sairaranjan), Jayant Raj (Amarpur), Shravan Kumar (Nalanda) and Mohammad Zama Khan (Chainpur).
