Bihar is moving towards 'bulldozer rule': Dipankar Bhattacharya

Bihar Politics: After Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary got the Home Department in Bihar, the opposition is on the attack. Meanwhile, the General Secretary of CPI (ML) said that now Bihar is moving towards bulldozer rule.

Bihar Politics : CPI (ML) General Secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) snatched the Home Department from Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Also, after giving Samrat Chaudhary to the Home Department, Bihar has started moving towards bulldozer rule. In the previous government, the home department was with Nitish Kumar and this time after the landslide victory, it was handed over to Samrat Chaudhary. Addressing a tribute meeting in Hajipur in memory of CPI (ML) Liberation leader Visheshwar Prasad Yadav in Supaul, Bhattacharya said that now like in UP, there will be rule not of law but of bulldozers.

Names of 70 lakh people were removed

Dipankar Bhattacharya said that his party will fight strongly against the bulldozer rule, even though Bihar has entered a dangerous phase. He claimed that the recent assembly elections in Bihar were affected by a lot of irregularities. Also, names of about 70 lakh people were removed from the electoral roll and about 20-25 lakh new names were added to it. This is the reason why the voter balance at the booth level changed completely. Apart from this, Bhattacharya also strongly criticized giving government money before the elections. He said that after completely ignoring the people for four years, Rs 30 thousand crores were given under different schemes.

Now strikes have become impossible

The CPI (ML) chief alleged that the entire election machinery has become a joke. The CPI(ML) leader opposed the implementation of four anti-worker labor codes after the elections and called on people to hold massive protests on Constitution Day on 26 November. He also said that under the new code, working hours have been increased from eight to 12 hours. Also, strikes have become impossible in companies, there is no job security and yet they keep saying that the code is a guarantee of job security. Bhattacharya further said that he accused the ruling coalition of cheating women voters by giving them Rs 10,000 before the elections and warned of increasing social atrocities in the future.
