Special Intensive Revision: A word has come in a lot of discussion before elections in Bihar and it is SIR. Due to this, the movement in the politics there has intensified and the opposition is constantly opposing it.

Special Intensive Revision: This year is an election year in Bihar. Political parties are making every effort to woo voters. But before this, the atmosphere there is hot. This is because the special intensive revision i.e. SIR has come in the discussion on behalf of the Election Commission. Because before the election, the Commission has started a special intensive revision of the voter list, due to which the opposition parties are strongly opposing it. In such a situation, what is the meaning of Sir and how it is worked in it will tell about it.

Supreme Court had ordered

Please tell that this is being strongly opposed by the opposition. The case was heard in the Supreme Court. After this, the court said that it has no problem with any such step of the Election Commission but is about its timing. According to the Supreme Court, there is an argument in the step of the Election Commission to conduct a special intensive revision of the voter list, but it is going to raise questions on them shortly before the assembly elections. Meanwhile, Justice Sudhanshu Dhulia has said that there is no problem in your process, but the problem is of time. Because people who can be removed from the list do not have time to appeal.

What is Sir?

There is a way to update the voter list under the Special Intensive Revision, Election Commission. In such a way that if a person has passed away or if someone has changed or has any other reason, then the person’s name is removed from the voter list. But if someone has been from 18 years, then his name is linked to the voter list.

to bear in mind

At the same time, attention has to be paid to the way the Election Commission is getting special intensive revision. In such a situation, if the name of a person is already included in the voter list, but he does not have to see any documents. But, if a person’s name is not included in this list, then he can get his name added by showing the documents according to the list released by the Election Commission.
