Political Attack: Congress President Kharge said that through special intensive revision (SIR) in Bihar, BJP has denied millions of people, especially weaker sections of franchise.
Political attack: As Bihar elections are getting closer, the Congress is constantly becoming attacked by BJP. The Congress has accused the BJP of ending the election purity. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge alleged on Monday that the BJP strategically abolished the purity of elections, while the real end is included in the bill that proposes to remove the Prime Minister, Chief Ministers and Ministers. In which provision has been made to remove the post from the post for 30 consecutive days on serious allegations. In a post on International Democracy Day, he also alleged that in the last 11 years, a conspiracy has been made by the RSS and the BJP to hollow out India’s long -finished and laborious -built democracy.
Weaker sections deprived of franchise
He alleged that the BJP is directly using electoral reforms as a tool to take away the important rights of votes contained in our Constitution. Congress President Kharge said that through special intensive revision (SIR) in Bihar, BJP has denied millions of people, especially weaker sections of franchise. The Congress chief said that the real game may be hidden in the 130th Constitution Amendment Bill, which is a legislative Trojan horse. This proposal gives the Center a chance to demolish the elected state governments corrupt, which can be decided easily by the agencies already present in the possession of the BJP. He said that the message seems to be that when you can legally demolish the elected Chief Ministers within 30 days, then what to worry about the elections.
Resolve to save constitutional institutions
Kharge further said that on this International Democracy Day, let us take a pledge to save our constitutional institutions from the clutches of RSS-BJP. Home Minister Amit Shah introduced three bills to remove the Prime Minister, Chief Ministers and Ministers arrested for 30 consecutive days in the Lok Sabha last month, which was strongly opposed by opposition MPs and tore copies of the draft law. In this bill, it has been proposed that if the Prime Minister, Union Minister or Chief Minister is arrested for 30 consecutive days for such crimes and kept in custody, which can be sentenced to at least five years in jail, he will lose his job on the 31st day.
