Delhi’s Patiala House Court has ruled to close the Poxo case filed against him. The court accepted the cancellation report filed by Delhi Police, after which the matter is now over.

Delhi Police filed a cancellation report on 15 June 2023 in this case. In this report, the police had said that during the investigation there was not enough evidence, on the basis of which the case registered under the Poxo Act could be carried forward. The court accepted it after considering this report and ordered the closure of the Poxo case against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh.
The complainant did not protest
During the hearing, the complainant did not oppose the closure report of the Delhi Police. Earlier on 1 August 2023, the alleged victim and her father also expressed satisfaction over the police investigation and did not register any objection against the cancellation report. This further strengthened the court’s decision, as there was no disagreement from the complainant side.

After getting relief from the Patiala House Court, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh expressed happiness and called it a victory of truth. He said, “The case registered under the Poxo Act canceled, this is a big relief for me. Truth has won and truth can never be defeated.” He further said that this decision is not only a legal victory for him, but also shows that the truth always comes out.
