LUCKNOW: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given a clear message to the officers that security and law and order is the first priority of the government. There will be no negligence in this. Unauthorized e-rickshaws and autos have been found involved in many incidents. This campaign should be curbed in any case. After this order, the Transport Commissioner has written a letter to all the Police Commissioners, District Magistrate and Police Captain. This campaign will start in the entire state on Tuesday (April 1).
Tempo, e-rickshaw drivers will have verification
Concerned about road accidents, the Chief Minister had said that special attention should be paid to the steering of any vehicle in the hands of minors. Tempo, e-rickshaw drivers should be verified. Transport department officials should also be included in the task force constituted in the districts. This special campaign is being started from Tuesday for following all these instructions and proper implementation. Nodal Officer Additional Transport Commissioner Enforcement Sanjay Singh will monitor districts from the headquarters daily. In this campaign, the responsibility of district level officials along with the headquarters has also been fixed.

Transport Commissioner Brajesh Narayan Singh said that the Chief Minister had taken a meeting in the past to keep the law and order of the state’s law and order. In this, he had directed to campaign against unauthorized rickshaws and autos. This campaign will start from April 1 (Tuesday) and will run till 30 April.
It will be monitored daily from the headquarters level. For this, Additional Transport Commissioner (Enforcement) has been made the nodal officer. In the districts also, the Divisional Transport Officer (Administration/Enforcement) has been instructed for the success of the campaign. Its report will also be sent to the government every Friday.
