India Immigration Rules: The order regarding the minorities issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs mentions that the people of Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Pakistan who are taking shelter in India due to religious harassment do not need passport-visa.
India Immigration Rules : People of Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, Parsi and Christian communities of Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Pakistan were given shelter in India till 31 December 2024 due to religious harassment by the Ministry of Home Affairs. Now a big decision has been taken for them. In the order issued, it has been said that those who are living in India without any visa-passports will now be given exemption. Explain that according to the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA) implemented last year, these oppressed minorities who came to India on or before December 31, 2014 will be provided citizenship of India.

Referring to these things in the order
According to the order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, the minority communities of Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Pakistan i.e. Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, Parsi and Christian, who were forced to take shelter in India due to religious harassment or any reason, or on 31 December 2024 or before any documents, no longer need to show legal passports and visas.
This is the rule for citizens of Nepal and Bhutan
Significantly, it has been clarified in the order that citizens of Nepal and Bhutan do not need any passport and visa to come to India or live. These rules will be applicable as before. But if a Nepali or Bhutani citizen comes to India from China, Macau, Hong Kong or Pakistan, then it is necessary to have a valid passport. This rule will apply for Indian citizens. Passport or visa is not required to travel to India from the border of Nepal or Bhutan. But if they return to India from any other country, then they have to show a valid passport.
