PM Modi on Dhwajarohan: Today the religious flag has been hoisted on the peak of Ram temple, which is a symbol of its completion. Every particle of Ayodhya city has become ‘Rammay’ today. PM Modi hoisted the flag with mantras. This moment is a day of pride for every Ram devotee, for every Indian and especially for Ayodhya. Many sages and thousands of devotees of the country became witnesses of this historic moment. PM Modi then addressed the devotees.
‘The country is immersed in the devotion of Ram’
PM Narendra Modi said, “Today, Ayodhya is witness to a historic moment of cultural awakening. The nation and the world are immersed in the devotion of Lord Ram. The heart of every Ram devotee is filled with deep satisfaction, immense gratitude and divine joy as age-old wounds are healing. The historic day of November 25 has brought another glorious moment of pride in our heritage. The Dharma flag will give us darshan of Shri Ram from afar. This flag is a symbol of the victory of truth.” The PM said the “wounds and pain” of centuries are healing as a 500-year-old resolution has finally been fulfilled with the formal completion of the Ram temple.

PM made this appeal
PM Narendra Modi said, “I request every citizen to visit the Sapta Mandapam when they come to the Ram temple. These mandaps strengthen the values of faith, friendship, duty and social interaction. Our Ram connects with emotions, not by dividing, for him devotion matters, not lineage.” We have to be proud of our heritage, for the progress of India we have to come out of the thinking of slavery. To achieve the goal of a developed India by 2047, we have to awaken the Ram within us.
‘Democracy is in our DNA’
At the flag hoisting ceremony, PM Narendra Modi said, “A few days ago, I had said that in the next 10 years, our aim is to free India from the mentality of slavery. We got independence, but we could not free ourselves from the inferiority complex. We started believing that anything of foreign origin is better and whatever is ours is inferior. It was said that our Constitution is inspired by foreign constitutions, but the truth is that India is the mother of democracy. Democracy is in our DNA.”
