Bihar Politics: After NDA got a huge majority in Bihar, cabinet ministers have also been sworn in along with the Chief Minister. Meanwhile, a journalist asked Chirag Paswan a question about the post of Deputy CM.
Bihar Politics : In Bihar, Nitish Kumar took oath as Chief Minister for the 10th time. Along with this, two Deputy CMs Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha also took the oath. Meanwhile, Union Minister Chirag Paswan said on Friday that he did not want to appear greedy by asking for the post of Deputy Chief Minister and expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for giving two posts to his Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) in the new cabinet in Bihar. Addressing a press conference, Paswan said that she wants to expand the party beyond Bihar by collaborating with the NDA in states like West Bengal, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh. He also mentioned that NDA won 19 out of 29 seats.
Got 19 seats with PM’s support: Paswan
Chirag Paswan said that we contested elections on those seats which were considered weak for the alliance. But our party won 19 seats because of the blessings of the people and the support of Prime Minister Modi. The Union Minister said that now LJP (RV) has got two ministerial posts in the new cabinet in Bihar and this is enough for us. He asked how much more greed can Chirag Paswan become now? NDA has returned to power in Bihar by winning 202 seats in the 243-member assembly, in which BJP got 89, JD(U) 85, LJP(RV) 19, HAM 5 and RLM 4 seats.
Will expand the party outside Bihar
Meanwhile, when Chirag was asked whether he would seek the post of Deputy CM, he said that in 2021 I did not have a single MLA and my party was also disintegrated. But in the year 2024, we trusted Prime Minister Modi and we won 5 seats in the Lok Sabha. He said that even after this, if I ask from the alliance, no one will be more greedy than me. At the same time, on the party’s expansion plan, the MP from Hajipur said that in the recently concluded Bihar Assembly elections, the party has won 19 seats. Now we are seriously preparing to increase the base of the party in West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh and Punjab. We will contest the upcoming assembly elections as a faction of NDA.
introspected after the defeat
Apart from this, the Union Minister said that after every defeat, you need to have an honest brainstorming and we too have gone through a big defeat. He said that we had honestly brainstormed where we had committed mistakes and the opposition has been around for so many days but they never tried to brainstorm. These people are still engaged in vote theft and blaming SIR, they just make excuses and if they never stop making excuses, they will never return to power.
