CM Nitish Kumar, while sharing a post on the social media account X, wrote that I am very happy and happy to say that I have directed to set up a Bihar State Safai Karamcharis Commission to ensure safety, welfare, rehabilitation, social upliftment, redress, redress, social upliftment, redress of the cleaning workers in Bihar state. This commission will give suggestions to the government related to the interests of the sweepers, the safety of their rights and will take appropriate action to review the welfare schemes related to the people engaged in cleaning works and to implement it.

These people will be included in the commission
The CM further wrote in his post that the Bihar State Safai Karamcharis Commission will include a chairman, a vice -chairman and 5 members, one of which will be a woman/transgender. This commission will play an important role in connecting the people of the deprived classes in the mainstream, their social and economic development.
When will the election be held in Bihar?
Significantly, the current term of Bihar Legislative Assembly will end on 22 November. The election process is to be completed by the Election Commission of India before this date. It is expected that elections in Bihar will be held in October or November 2025. Elections can be concluded in two or three phases. However, so far no announcement has been made by the Election Commission regarding dates.
