CM Yogi : The Waqf Amendment Bill has been passed in both houses. After this, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has started taking strict decisions. As soon as the bill is passed, the Yogi government has started taking a tough stand against the illegally declared properties by the Waqf Board. In this episode, he has instructed all the District Magistrates to identify such Waqf properties which are not recorded in the revenue records and which were declared Waqf against the rules. At the same time, action will be taken on them by identifying them.
Revenue department made a statement
According to the revenue department, most of the properties issued by the Waqf Board in UP have no official record. According to him, only 2,533 properties of Sunni Waqf Board are recorded. At the same time, only 430 properties of Shia Waqf Board are officially registered. However, the data released by the Waqf Board is much higher than this. In this case, 1,24,355 properties of Sunni Waqf Board and 7,785 properties of Shia Waqf Board are included.

Action on the accused
Please tell here that in many districts, ponds, pastures, barn and public use lands were declared as Waqf and if it proves to be correct, then the government will take action on it. In this case, the government has made it clear that law -related action will be taken on every property declared illegally and responsibility will also be fixed on the culprits.

Significantly, CM Yogi Adityanath has attended a ceremony in Prayagraj on the birth anniversary of Nishad Raja Guhyas. During this, he has mentioned the Waqf Bill and Mahakumbh. Speaking on this, CM Yogi made a sharp comment. CM Yogi accused the Waqf Board of land encroachment and said that his “arbitrary claims” will no longer be tolerated at public and historical sites.
