Congress is over, now busy trying to sink RJD

PM Modi in Saharsa: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday accused RJD that after the formation of Nitish government, RJD had put pressure on UPA to stop projects in Bihar.

PM Modi in Saharsa: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday accused the RJD of stalling development projects in Bihar by putting pressure on the Congress-led UPA government at the Center to take revenge for being ousted from power in the state in 2005. He was addressing an election rally held in Saharsa on Monday. Said that after the formation of Nitish government, RJD had put pressure on UPA to stop projects in Bihar. Modi also reiterated that the Congress reluctantly agreed to declare Tejashwi Yadav as the chief ministerial candidate of the Grand Alliance after the RJD pointed the noose at the Congress. Modi said that the people of Bihar had to bear the brunt of the vendetta politics of RJD and Congress for years. He said that there was a time when people of a large part of Kosi-Mithilanchal had to travel a long distance of about 300 kilometers to go from one side to the other, but today this distance has reduced to less than 30 kilometers. He claimed that Congress, which is already decimated in Bihar, has vowed to sink RJD in the current elections.

Work is being done on linking rivers

Modi urged people to punish RJD for its sins and asserted that NDA stands for development while Jungle Raj stands for destruction. He said that in 2005, when RJD was out of power in Bihar, it was sharing power at the Centre. Projects like Kosi Mahasetu were approved by the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government. RJD was so angry with Nitish Kumar forming a new government in the state that it put pressure on Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi and stopped all such projects in Bihar. He said that we are also working on interlinking of rivers. A blueprint for flood control has also been presented in the NDA manifesto. Speaking in an area which has a large Muslim population, Modi accused the RJD-Congress alliance of being soft towards infiltrators and having disdain for the Ram temple in Ayodhya and the Chhath festival.

Said- beware of ‘Jungle Raj’

Said that RJD and Congress leaders take out time to visit all kinds of places abroad, but they do not get time to go to Ayodhya. If they hate Lord Ram so much, they can go to see the monuments built in the memory of Nishad Raj and Valmiki. The Prime Minister said that the North Bihar region of Mithila was known in ancient times for goddesses like Sita, Bharati and Gargi. The Prime Minister said that from this land of great women, I want to congratulate our daughters who have made us proud by winning the Cricket World Cup. Highlighting the achievements of women in various spheres of life, Modi said that those making fun of the slogan of “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao” must be feeling embarrassed for disrespecting the women of the country so much. I would like to tell our mothers and sisters who benefit from NDA’s welfare schemes to beware of ‘Jungle Raj’.
