Rahul Gandhi News: The Congress is an attacker after the BJP leader’s remarks killing Rahul Gandhi. He also tried to raise this issue in the assembly but the President of the House did not allow it.
Rahul Gandhi News: Leader of Opposition in Kerala Legislative Assembly VD SATHEEESAN on Wednesday claimed that CPI (M) Minister P Rajiv and MB Rajesh were wrong. Because he had said in the House that neither protested nor filed a complaint about the threat of killing Congress MP Rahul Gandhi. Satishan said in a press conference that the threat by BJP leader Printu Mahadevan was given in a news channel on 26 September. After this, Congress leaders lodged several complaints in various police stations of the state. Apart from this, we also protested on 27 September. During that time, we felt that the government will also take some action in this matter but till September 29 no FIR was registered.
Recognized to withdraw the statement
The opposition leader said that when no complaint was lodged by the government, we wanted to raise this issue in the assembly. He also said that Rajiv probably did not realize that 27 and 28 September when the minister questioned why the Congress did not raise this issue in the House the very next day of the incident. Satishan further said that Rajesh told the House that the complaint was received only on September 29, which was wrong. I urge both ministers to withdraw their wrong statements. He also questioned how the threat of killing the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha in the Lok Sabha can tell a minor issue, while the opposition alliance had tried hard to raise the issue under the stay motion in the House.
Saving BJP leader from party fear
Let us tell you that after the postponement of the House on Tuesday due to opposition from the opposition, UDF MLAs said during the media visit outside the assembly that Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan should clarify whether Rahul Gandhi’s chest will be shot in the chest. He also alleged that the government is protecting the BJP leader from the fear of the party and described it as the latest proof of the impure alliance between the BJP and the CPI (M) in Kerala. After this, the BJP in the state accused the Congress-UDF of unnecessary propaganda against the party on this issue.
