Haryana nikay chunav results 2025: In Haryana, the Congress has again suffered a major setback in the Mayor elections. After a crushing defeat in the Haryana assembly elections last year, the Congress mayor has not been able to open an account in the election. BJP i.e. BJP i.e. Bharatiya Janata Party candidates have won 9 out of 10 seats. At the same time, an independent candidate has won a big win on one seat. The Congress, which is expecting to return after the defeat in the assembly elections, has received the biggest setback ever.
Elections were held on in-in seats
Manesar, Gurugram, Faridabad, Hisar, Rohtak, Karnal, Yamunanagar, Panipat, Ambala and Sonipat Municipal Corporations had elections for the post of Mayor earlier this month. In this, BJP has now registered a huge victory. Out of this, by -elections for the post of Mayor have also been held in Ambala and Sonipat Municipal Corporations.

Who won from which seat
Ambala- For the post of Mayor in Ambala, BJP candidate Shailaja Sachdeva defeated her nearest rival Amisha Chawla of Congress by 20,487 votes.
In Faridabad, BJP candidate Parveen Joshi defeated Lata Rani of Congress by 3,16,852 record votes.
Gurugram- In Gurugram, Raj Rani of BJP defeated Congress Seema Pahuja by 1,79,485 votes.
Manesar- In Manesar, BJP candidate Sundar Lal lost the election to Independent candidate Indrajit Yadav. Indrajit Yadav won by 2,293 votes.
In Sonepat, senior BJP leader Rajiv Jain has won by defeating Komal Dewan of Congress. BJP has won by a margin of 34 thousand 749 votes.
Panipat- In Panipat, BJP candidate Komal Saini has defeated Savita Garg of Congress.
Rohtak- The Congress has suffered the biggest setback in Rohtak. Rohtak is considered to be the stronghold of Bhupinder Singh Hooda. Nevertheless, BJP candidate Ram Avatar defeated Surajmal Killi of Congress by 45,198 votes on this seat.
Hisar- In Hisar, BJP candidate Praveen Popli has defeated Krishna Titu Singla of Congress by 64 thousand 456 votes.
Karnal- In Karnal, BJP’s Renu Bala Gupta defeated Manoj Wadhwa of Congress by a margin of 25,359 votes.
