Attack on BJP: Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh said that Prime Minister Modi has welcomed President Trump’s new 20-point plan for Gaza.
Attack on BJP: The Congress on Wednesday launched a big attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the Gaza case. It is alleged that Narendra Modi is completely silent on the frightening atrocities in Gaza and this is moral cowardice and complete betrayal towards India. Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh said that Prime Minister Modi has welcomed President Trump’s new 20-point plan for Gaza to please his good friend President Trump and show solidarity with his other good friend Bibi Netanyahu. Jairam Ramesh said that basic and disturbing questions remain on the scheme. The Congress leader asked where is the people of Gaza themselves in the proposed governance system? Where is the roadmap to come into existence of a full Palestinian state? He also asked how long the US and Israel would continue to ignore the status of Palestinian state, which had already been recognized by 157 member countries of the United Nations and India had led it in November 1988. Where is the accountability of the massacre in Gaza in the last twenty months?
Congress expresses grief over massacre
Jairam Ramesh wrote that the Prime Minister has completely kept silence on the terrible atrocities responsible for the killing of thousands of citizens in Gaza. This is a gross moral cowardice and a complete betrayal with the values of India. The Congress has been questioning the silence of the Modi government on atrocities in Gaza. The Congress Working Committee (CWC) also expressed deep grief over the ongoing massacre of innocent citizens in Gaza last week and said that India has always been a symbol of moral discretion, but has now become embarrassably as a shameful spectator. The CWC proposal states that India has always been a symbol of moral discretion and the champion of the north-colonial world, but has now become ashamed as a shameful spectator. Our foreign policy has now become moral stigma.
Tony Blair will also be included in the governing board
On Tuesday, Modi welcomed US President Donald Trump’s plan to end the Gaza struggle, saying it would provide long-term peace, security and development for the Palestinian and Israeli people as well as the large West Asian region. In an X post after the announcement of the plan by Trump in the presence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Modi hoped that all the concerned parties would unite behind the initiative of President Trump and support this effort to end the struggle and ensure peace. Trump and Netanyahu said on Monday that they had agreed to plans to end the war in Gaza. Trump had laid down a 20-point plan to end the Israeli-Hamas War and set up a temporary governing board in the war-torn Palestinian region, which will be headed by Trump and will also include former British Prime Minister Tony Blair.
