Uttarakhand Panchayat Election 2025: Voting of panchayat elections has been completed a few days ago in Uttarakhand and all the seats of the state are being counted from today. During this time, the Election Commission is fulfilling this responsibility with transparency.

Uttarakhand Panchayat Election 2025: After the Uttarakhand Panchayat elections, votes are being counted on Thursday and during this time the fate of 32,580 candidates is at stake. 15,024 employees have been deployed for counting of voting in the elections held for a total of 10,915 posts and on the other hand 8,926 security personnel have been deployed for security arrangements. It is being told that this Election Commission will release the results on the website. At the same time, 7,829 candidates will be decided to win in the first phase and 14,751 candidates of the second phase. It is believed that the counting of votes in all the districts will be completed late in the evening and the final results will also be declared.

Votes will be counted with transparency

The counting of votes in 11,082 posts started from eight o’clock in the morning. Apart from this, the Commission made it clear that as the voting has been completed in an independent and fair manner, the counting of votes will also be done in a transparency manner. All arrangements have been ensured for this and in this series, State Election Commission Secretary Rahul Kumar Goel said that except Haridwar, 89 development blocks of 12 districts of the state were voted on 24 and 28 July in two phases. Also, a total of 69.16 percent voting was done at these places during this period, out of which 64.23 percent of men and women percent were 74.42.

Election Commission increased security system at counting center

The Secretary of the Election Commission informed that all arrangements have been made at the voting counting center including security. Also, observers, zonal magistrates and police officers are doing to monitor these centers. Apart from this, the results will be announced by the Returning Officer and after that those results will be uploaded on the official website. On the other hand, the Election Commission banned the celebration and procession after winning. The Election Commission has given clear instructions to the District Magistrates that no winner has to be allowed to gather procession and crowd. The duty of police officer or in -charge/police station will be mandated at every voting center.
