Actor Dharmendra Rumours: Daughter Esha Deol has broken her silence on the news of the demise of veteran actor Dharmendra. Dharmendra’s daughter Esha Deol on Tuesday said the veteran actor’s condition is “stable and improving”. He urged the media not to spread false news about his health as the 89-year-old actor is still under observation in a hospital in Mumbai.
Family angry at media
Isha wrote on Instagram, “It seems the media is being overactive and spreading false news. My father’s condition is stable and improving. We request everyone to give our family privacy. Thank you for your prayers for Papa’s speedy recovery.”
Dharmendra’s wife, actress-politician Hema Malini, also criticized the “irresponsible” coverage by the media regarding the veteran actor’s health. Hema Malini posted on
A representative of his son, actor and BJP MP Sunny Deol, refuted speculations that his father has been put on a ventilator. His PR said “Mr. Dharmendra is stable and has been kept under observation. Further comments and updates will be shared as they become available. Please do not spread false rumors about his health. Everyone is requested to pray for his speedy recovery and respect the family’s right to privacy.”
Many big personalities had paid tribute
His statement comes after several prominent personalities, including Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and lyricist Javed Akhtar, posted tributes on Instagram, while the family denied reports of Dharmendra’s demise. Dharmendra has been in and out of Breach Candy Hospital in South Mumbai for several days. Earlier on Monday night, Malini had urged people to remain calm and pray for her speedy recovery.
