Delhi government will provide free JEE, NEET coaching to 2000 students

JEE NEET Free Coaching: Education Minister Ashish Sood informed on Monday that the Delhi government is providing free coaching for JEE, NEET, CLAT, CA and CUET to 2,200 promising government school students.

JEE NEET Free Coaching: Children from economically weak homes are not able to prepare for exams like IIT-NEET, because their coaching is very expensive. Delhi government has taken a big step to fulfill the dreams of such children. Education Minister Ashish Sood informed on Monday that the Delhi government is providing free professional coaching for JEE, NEET, CLAT, CA and CUET to 2,200 promising government school students under the Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya Vidya Shakti Mission.

Seats are reserved for girls

An official statement said that the objective of this mission is to strengthen the expectations of the students, ensure emotional well-being and shape the future of the capital with the children. There is a budget allocation of Rs 21 crore for this scheme announced in the budget. In this, 50 seats are reserved for female students for each course in JEE, NEET, CLAT and CA Foundation. There will be 1,000 seats in CUET-UG, out of which 150 seats will be reserved for girls.

Coaching will be available from these institutions

The statement said that coaching will be given through institutions, which include Aakash Institute, Narayana Academy, KD Campus and Rabindra Institute. Students will get classroom coaching, live sessions, study material and test preparation help after school and on weekends. Calling it “a turning point in Delhi’s public education”, Sood said 62,000 students appeared for the CET-2025 held on October 30. Counseling is over and physical classes have started from November 26, 2025.

‘Education is not just marks’

Reiterating the importance of an emotionally safe learning environment, the Minister said, “Education is not just about marks, it is about mental wellness, dignity and humanity.” He further emphasized that the government is developing AI-enabled classrooms and human-centered education systems to ensure truly equal opportunities for every child. Sood said that Vidya Shakti Mission is a movement to strengthen talent, protect mental wellness and unlock the academic potential of Delhi at the grassroots level.
