Red Fort Blast: There is currently an atmosphere of panic in the country’s capital Delhi. Yesterday evening at 6:55 a big explosion occurred in a car parked at the Red Fort. In this attack, 9 people have died and 24 people have been seriously injured. Yesterday during the day, the police recovered 2900 kg of explosives from Faridabad and other places and arrested three doctors and in the evening a car blast took place near the Red Fort. Delhi Police and other investigating agencies are investigating this attack. This attack is being described as a terrorist attack, because the FIR has been registered under UAPA and Explosives Act.

FIR registered under UAPA

Delhi Police on Tuesday registered an FIR under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act and the Explosives Act in connection with the blast near the Red Fort in which nine people died, officials said. The FIR has been lodged under sections 16 and 18 of the UAPA, which relate to punishment and conspiracy to commit a terrorist attack. A high-intensity explosion took place in a slow-moving car at a traffic signal near the Red Fort metro station on Monday evening, killing at least nine people and burning several vehicles, officials said.

4 suspects in custody

Police teams searched almost all the big and small hotels, lodges and guest houses in the area. The register of each hotel was checked to find out who had booked rooms in the last 48 hours. CCTV footage is also being examined to identify any suspicious activity. During the investigation, the police have identified four suspects. All four have been detained and are being interrogated. However, the police have not yet officially confirmed his identity or arrest.

2,900 kg explosives seized

The blast came hours after about 360 kg of suspected ammonium nitrate and a cache of arms and ammunition were recovered from the rented house of a Kashmiri doctor near Faridabad. Haryana Police, along with Jammu and Kashmir Police, arrested Dr. Muzammil Ganai from Dhauj area of ​​Faridabad and recovered explosive material, weapons and timer from his rented house.

Eight people, including three doctors, were arrested and 2,900 kg of explosives were seized, busting a “white-collar” terror module linked to Jaish-e-Mohammed and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind, officials said. This module was spread to Kashmir, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. Officials said that those arrested after the 15-day operation include Dr. Ganai from Kashmir in Faridabad and Dr. Shaheen, a female doctor from Lucknow.
