Delhi Jaitpur Wall Collopse: A large wall has fallen due to heavy rains in Jaitpur area of Delhi, due to which 8 people have died.

Delhi Jaitpur Wall Collapse: There has been a tragic accident in Jaitpur area of Delhi. During this time, 8 people, including two children, have died due to falling 100 feet long wall of a plot due to heavy rains. There were slums inside the plot, on which debris fell and people died. In such a situation, the team of Delhi Police, Fire Brigade, NDRF is present on the occasion. Search continues under slums and walls.

Identification of dead

Explain that the dead include 3 men, 2 women and 2 girls. All have been identified. The names of the dead include Rubina (25 years), Dolly (25 years), Rukhsana (6 years) and Hasina (7 years).

Accident occurred in the morning

This accident took place at around 9:30 am on the occasion of Rakshabandhan. This incident has happened due to the fall of the samadhi wall over the slums behind the Hari Nagar village. DCP Hemant Tiwari of South East, who reached the spot, said that as soon as the information about the case was received, people were called out and called JCB.

DCP’s statement

In such a situation, DCP said that a wall fell in 10-15 years old slums. He further told that most of the junk people lived here. 8 people have lost their lives due to falling wall. Initial investigation has revealed that the wall collapsed due to heavy rains. The foundation of the wall was weak.
