Apart from this, respiratory patients are facing problems and during this period, Delhi’s AQI was recorded at 314 which is kept in the poor category. The AQI recorded on Monday is 6 more than on Sunday.
Most pollution is caused by vehicles
Apart from this, the air of Noida adjacent to Delhi was also recorded as quite polluted. Here Delhi AQI was recorded around 330 and it was about 16 more than Delhi. Whereas, AQI was recorded at 309 in Ghaziabad, 302 in Greater Noida and 278 in Gurugram. On the other hand, the air in Faridabad remained a little clean and people there are not facing much problem due to the air. AQI 203 was recorded here, although it is not satisfactory but there is some relief here compared to other areas. At the same time, according to the decision support system, the share of pollution caused by vehicles in these areas is about 17 percent. Apart from this, 4.29 percent is from residential areas, 2.49 percent is from construction activities and 8.42 percent is from peripheral industry.
No relief till Thursday
According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), on Monday the wind blew in the north-west direction at a speed of 20 kilometers per hour. On the other hand, at noon the amount of PM 10 was 250.2 and the amount of PM 2.5 was 138.8 micrograms per cubic meter. Was recorded. Also, CPCB has said that there is no improvement in the air condition till Thursday and respiratory patients will continue to face problems. On the other hand, now people have started feeling burning sensation in their eyes and they have started complaining of throat. There are many areas in Delhi where the air condition has become worse and people are facing many problems. At the same time, some experts said that due to AI rain, improvement in air quality may be seen in a few days.
