Delhi’s toll plaza will be high -tech, there will be rapid recovery

New tenders worth Rs 997 crore will be released

According to an official, as part of a new tender of Rs 997 crore, the civic body has planned to implement state-of-the-art technology for toll and environmental compensation fee (ECC) collection from commercial vehicles entering the national capital, including RFID-based systems, digital integration and standardized plaza operation. Bidders will have to deposit 19.94 crore

The bidders need to deposit the early amount of Rs 19.94 crore (EMD), which will be adjusted against the 10 percent performance guarantee on the contract of the contract. He will also have to show the experience of toll collection of Rs 349 crore annually in his best three years. The joint venture is allowed, provided the major partner completes 51 percent of the net price criteria. The MCD has clarified that firms or their subsidiaries with history of pending arrears or blacklisted by a government agency will be disqualified.
