At the same time, while addressing the program, Union Tourism and Culture Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said that Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has resolved to make Madhya Pradesh a developed state. Referring to the rich cultural heritage of the country, Shekhawat said that many cultures were born in the world, but Indian culture is still alive. Our culture has faced attacks for 2 thousand years and suffered a slavery of about 200 years and after that Indian culture is rich. Two and a half thousand years ago, when the human was looking for its existence in the world, there was a tradition of pilgrimage in India. He further said that Adi Shankaracharya traveled to Persia and introduced the world to Indian culture.

Mahakumbh gave the message of world peace

Talking about the cultural unity of modern India, he said that the biggest example of this is the Mahakumbh held in Prayagraj where he gathered for every religion and sect and gave the message of world peace. The Union Minister said that when the infrastructure was not so developed hundreds of years ago, the people of India used to do pilgrimage of Kedarnath and Badrinath. He further said that during the tenure of Prime Minister Modi, the economy of the country increased rapidly and the number of tourists in Ujjain has increased rapidly.
