Bihar Election: Bhattacharya has alleged that the Nitish government is serving a ‘cocktail’ of crime, corruption and communalism to the people.
Bihar Election: CPI (ML) Liberation General Secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya has fiercely attacked the Nitish Kumar government in Bihar. Bhattacharya has alleged that the Nitish government is serving a ‘cocktail’ of crime, corruption and communalism to the people. In an interview with PTI, the Left leader described the situation in the state as scary. Dipankar Bhattacharya said that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, who has served the state for the longest time, has claimed to end the jungle raj of CPI (ML)-L ally RJD’s rule, which is completely wrong.
Told the state’s situation as scary
Bhattacharya alleged that Nitishji used to say that after joining hands with BJP, he would never compromise on the three Cs – crime, corruption and communalism. But his governance displays not just compromise, but a cocktail of the three C’s. Said that the situation in the state is dire, which is being run by the nexus of criminal gangs, politicians and police. He claimed that firing has also taken place at places like hospitals in Patna, which reminds of Bollywood crime thriller Gangs of Wasseypur. He mentioned the murder of Chandan Mishra in broad daylight at Paras Hospital in Patna, where the faces of the criminals were captured on CCTV.
claim to form government
However, Bhattacharya dismisses apprehensions that the RJD’s track record on law and order when it was in power a decade and a half ago hindered the India Bloc’s chances in the poll-bound state. The CPI(ML) Liberation leader asserted that the RJD is no longer what it was decades ago, whose workers were involved in bloody feuds with the party led by Chief Minister Lalu Prasad in the 1990s. Bhattacharya also claimed that in the last assembly elections we had come very close to forming the government. We were just a few seats short of majority, but this time we are going to form the government. He said that after our government is formed, all basic facilities will be provided to the public. There will be rule of law in the state.
