Parliament Dog Controversy: The winter session of Parliament has started with warmth. Instead of discussing important issues in Parliament, there is a dispute going on over a dog. BJP and Congress are attacking each other over the entry of dog in Parliament. In fact, on the first day of the session, Congress MP Renuka Chaudhary brought a stray dog with her, on which the BJP has accused her of insulting the House. In this context, today Rahul Gandhi has given a big statement sarcastically.

Whom did Rahul target?

Amid the controversy over his colleague Renuka Chaudhary bringing a stray dog to Parliament, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday said pets are allowed “inside” and not outside. Gandhi said, “I believe that today the dog is the main issue. Nowadays India is discussing these things. What has the poor dog done? The dog came here. Why is it not allowed to come?” Pointing towards the Parliament building, he said that pets are not allowed here, but they are allowed inside.

BJP’s counterattack

Responding to Gandhi’s statement, BJP spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari said in an X post, “Rahul Gandhi is comparing his own Congressmen and opposition leaders with dogs! Familyists do the same with the temple of democracy.” Earlier, Renuka Chaudhary had also posted a video with dogs on X.

dog becomes controversy

The Congress MP reached Parliament with a dog in her car on the first day of the winter session. While talking to the media, he said that this government does not like animals. Regarding the dog, he said, “It is very small, it looks like it will bite? In Parliament, people bite, not dogs.” BJP got enraged by this statement. BJP leader Jagdambika Pal strongly objected to this statement, saying, “You are not serious about discussing the issues. You are making fun of Parliament with such a farce.” Pal demanded action against him.
