Punjab Blast: There has been a major accident in Sri Muktsar Sahib, Punjab. About 4 people died on the spot after a fire broke out in a firecracker factory here, while about 25 people were reported injured. Currently, the police team of fire brigade on the spot has immediately rushed the injured to the hospital.

Local people said that this blast was so strong that two floors of the factory collapsed like cards. This accident spread panic throughout the area. According to the information, the factory had prepared crackers in many boxes, in which there is a possibility of explosion. The sound of the blast was so loud that people were scared for many kilometers away. A total of 40 employees were employed in the factory, who worked in two shifts. Many of these laborers lived with their families in the factory premises. The accident happened late at night, when many laborers were sleeping under the sky in open fields. Eyewitnesses said that the building collapsed in the blink of an eye.

Most of the workers working in the factory were from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. This incident put their families in deep shock. After the blast, the injured were immediately rushed to the nearest hospitals, where the condition of many remains critical. Emergency teams reached the spot and started rescue work.
