During this time, areas like Yamuna Bazar, Geeta Colony, Majnu Ka Tila, Mayur Vihar and Kashmiri Gate are in bad condition. People have to face many problems. In view of the situation, rescue operations are being carried out. At the same time, Punjab is also facing a lot of problems due to floods. However, it is still not expected to get relief from this.
Yamuna above the danger mark for three days
Please tell here that for the last 3 days, the Yamuna river is flowing above the danger mark 205.33 meters and its water level reached 207.43 meters last night. Due to this, the entire Khadar area has been flooded and the Yamuna market has been flooded up to 8 feet. The effect of this was that the water reached the Ring Road Civil Lines area, the Delhi Secretariat and the Kashmiri Gate ISBT. The CM house is only two kilometers away from the place where water has reached the civil lines.

Cremation ghats immersed with Yamuna

Punjab got bad condition
Floods in Punjab have also disturbed the lives of people. The water level of Pong Dam has been 14 feet above the danger mark. At the same time, the water level of Bhakra Dam is also just one feet from the danger mark. In view of the security of the dam, the flood gate of Bhakra has been opened up to 10 feet instead of 7 feet. Ludhiana is also in bad shape.
