He said that today, with the ramparts of the Red Fort, I respectfully remember all the volunteers who have contributed to these 100 years of national service. The Prime Minister said that service, dedication, organization and unique discipline are the identity of RSS, which is the largest non-governmental organization in the world (NGO) in a way.

RSS was established in 1925

He said that this journey of RSS is ‘dedicated and glorious’ and it will continue to inspire us. The RSS started with a small group of volunteers in Nagpur on the day of Vijayadashami in 1925 by Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar has made its penetration across the country and thousands of volunteers are included in this organization every year. More than 83,000 branches are organized daily by full -time activists of RSS at 51,570 places across the country. He said that apart from daily branches, RSS workers also organize more than 32,000 weekly branches and 12,000 monthly branches across the country. On this Vijayadashami, the RSS is completing 100 years of its establishment.
