Now scientists of IIT Guwahati, ISRO (URSC) and Haifa University in Israel have revealed a secret that has shown a new way towards understanding the depths of the universe. He has decoded the mysterious X-Ray signal pattern originating from a black hole located about 28,000 light years away from the Earth.
What is the mysterious game of Black Hole?
In the data from Astrosat, it was seen that the X-ray light coming from the black hole sometimes shines and sometimes slows down. This pattern continued for several hundred seconds. Interestingly, the X-ray is rapidly flickering in a sharp-glowing phase, about 70 times per second, while in a slow phase it disappears.
Split corona
The study showed that when the glow of X-rays increases, the corona around the black hole becomes small and extremely hot. But when the light is dim, it spreads and cools down, and the flickering disappears. This discovery proves that the corona around the black hole is not permanent but a changing structure.
What is not about scientists?
According to Santbrat Das, Professor of IIT Guwahati, ‘We have found evidence of X-Ray Flickering for the first time, which only appears in a bright state. This discovery shows that the corona around the black hole keeps changing its size and energy according to the flow of gases. Dr. Anuj Nandi of ISRO said, ‘Our study has given direct evidence that the origin of X-ray flickering is associated with corona. This discovery is an important step in understanding the dynamic nature of Black Hole. “
