Delhi News: A big news is coming out for Delhiites. Today i.e. from April 10, Ayushman Bharat Scheme will be implemented. This information has been given by Delhi Health Minister Pankaj Kumar Singh.
Delhi News : The wait for Delhiites is now going to end. The agreement between the Center and the Government of Delhi will be signed on Thursday to implement the Prime Minister Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission. Under the Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission, a budget of about Rs 2,400 crore will be available for the development of Delhi’s health structure.
An agreement was reached on 5 April
From Thursday, Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY) will start making Ayushman cards. There was an agreement on April 5 between the Central Government’s National Health Authority (NHA) and the State Health Agency of the Delhi Government to implement PMJAY in the national capital.
Criteria for Ayushman Bharat Card
Please tell here that the PMJAY scheme has taken place in two categories. In these, urban and rural beneficiaries will be covered. Nearly 30 lakh members of 6.54 lakh poor families of Delhi, six lakh elderly people, Asha workers, Agnwadi workers will get the benefit of this.
Health insurance of 10 lakhs will be available
Let us tell you that under the Ayushman scheme, Delhiites will get the benefit of health insurance of Rs 10 lakh. The Delhi government will provide additional health insurance of Rs 5 lakh in addition to the Center’s Rs 5 lakh. At the same time, about 36 lakh people will get an additional health insurance benefit of Rs 5 lakh under the scheme and 5 lakh from Delhi government. For this, 2.35 thousand families will be included in the first phase and Ayushman cards of beneficiaries will start making from April 10.
How to apply for Ayushman card?
It is worth noting that to apply for PMJAY, check your eligibility on its website (PMJAY.GOV.IN) or mobile application. After this, click on the Abha registration button. The eligible people of this scheme will have to submit their information and documents (Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID) to verify their identity. After your application is reviewed and approval, applicants will get their Ayushman card. At the same time, go to your nearest CSC to apply offline and there the CSC operator will verify your documents to fill the application form and submit the application.
