Monsoon Session : In the Lok Sabha, the Central Government has introduced the Bill of Public Faith (amendment in provisions). This bill will work easily than the first of life and business. At the same time, this bill will also make a provision to exclude small crimes from the crime category. This bill was introduced on Monday and after that the Standing Committee has been sent. At the same time, while presenting the Bill, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said that this bill tries to promote confidence based regime to facilitate business. Only after this, the bill was sent to the Select Committee of the Lok Sabha.

Task of submitting reports

It is being told that the committee has been entrusted with the task of submitting its report to the House by the first day of Parliament. On the other hand, the opposition has been continuously protesting inside and outside the House demanding the voter list amendment and other issues in Bihar and meanwhile the bill was introduced. Apart from this, it has been proposed to amend more than 350 provisions through this bill. At the same time, let us tell you that the proceedings have been postponed till 2 pm amidst heavy uproar in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.

Before this, many provisions changed

Through this bill, the government is trying to improve the business environment of the country. Earlier in the year 2023, the public belief (amendment in provisions) was passed, under which 183 provisions of 42 Central Acts administered by 19 ministries and departments were relieved. The government had removed imprisonment or fine in some provisions. Also, imprisonment was removed from some rules and retained the fine. Apart from this, in some cases imprisonment and fine was converted into punishment.

PM Modi mentioned

On the occasion of Independence Day, Prime Minister Modi had mentioned from the rampart wall of the Red Fort that there are some such laws in the country that look amazing after seeing. Also, some demand punishment on some minor complaints. Till now no one had paid attention but now discuss them. Amendment will be done.
