Due to which a minor boy was injured by bullet. Angry people blocked the road. On the information, the administration swelled hands and feet. The police reached the spot and tried to convince the angry people.
In this regard, officials said on Saturday that a large number of Brahmins who had come to perform rituals in the yagna, blocked the Kurukshetra-Pyhova road. Police said that efforts are on to resolve the case in a cordial manner. It is known that Mahayagya is being organized by Sri Sri 1008 Swami Hariom of Tripura Shaktipeeth, Manikut at Keshav Park in Kurukshetra. A large number of Brahmins have arrived to perform rituals in this day -long event.
Police said that on Saturday, some Brahmins complained of inferior quality of food being served. Due to this, there was an argument between Brahmins and Swami Hariom. He said that the Brahmins alleged that Hariom’s security guard fired on him. Police said that angry Brahmins then tore the posters of the program and threw stones. Superintendent of Police Varun Singla said that 16 -year -old Ashish Kumar of Lucknow has been shot.
Attempt to disrupt ‘1008 Kund Yajna’: Swami Hariom
The SP said that a person named Prince, a resident of Uttar Pradesh, has also been injured during the stone pelting. He informed that no FIR has been lodged so far. Meanwhile, Swami Hariom alleged that some disrespects tried to disrupt the ‘1008 Kund Yagya’ going on here for the last four days. He said that ‘Bhandara’ (kitchen) Kaithal was being operated by his followers and no complaint was made in the last four days.
He said that on Saturday, some Brahmins suddenly started objecting to food and others supported them, which spread unrest. Hariom said that this matter should have been discussed in a cordial manner, not the ongoing ‘Yajna’ should have been interrupted. He said that around 800 Brahmins are still performing rituals.
