Salman Khan has got bail after the sentence. These days Salman Khan is out on bail in the black deer hunting case. All appeals will now be heard again in the High Court on 22 September 2025.

Jodhpur: The hearing was held in the Rajasthan High Court in the black deer hunting case of Salman Khan in Jodhpur. The court has accepted the demand to connect all the appeals of Salman Khan together. Now a joint hearing of all cases related to Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan and other stars will be held on 22 September. When the film ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’ was being shot in Kankani village near Jodhpur, Rajasthan in 1998. During this, actor Salman Khan was accused of hunting two black deer. The lower court sentenced Salman Khan to 5 years in the case, while Neelam, Sonali Bendre, actors Saif Ali Khan, Dushyant Singh and Tabu were acquitted giving benefits of doubt. Timely appeal could not be made against other accused acquitted by the government. After this, the government filed a petition in the court for “leave to appeal” i.e. “permission of appeal”. This petition has also been associated with matters related to Salman Khan.

Salman Khan is out on bail

On behalf of Vishnoi Samaj, senior advocate Mahipal Vishnoi advocated, while the demand for transfer from the lower court to the High Court was demanded by advocate Hastimal Saraswat on behalf of Salman Khan, which was accepted. Salman Khan has got bail after the sentence. Salman Khan is out on bail these days in the black deer hunting case. All appeals will now be heard again in the High Court on 22 September 2025. The Rajasthan High Court on Monday fixed the date of September 22 for actor Salman Khan’s black deer hunting case against Doshasiddhi in the black deer hunting case. The state government will hear the Khan’s appeal with the permission of the state government to appeal against the acquittal of co-accused including Justice Manoj Kumar Garg, Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre, Neelam and a local Dushyant Singh. The lower court convicted actor Salman. The court sentenced Salman to five years imprisonment on 5 April 2018.

The allegation was made during the film ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’

The incident took place in the High Court when the two petitions were listed for simultaneous hearing after Khan’s appeal was transferred from the District and Sessions Court to the High Court. He said that the transfer was delayed due to some technical reasons and hence the hearing on both appeals had been stopped for a long time. In 1998, when the film “Hum Saath Saath Hain” was being shot, Salman was accused of hunting two black deer in Kankani village of Jodhpur district. The main accused Khan was sentenced by the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate (Jodhpur District), while Saif Ali Khan, Bendre, Tabu, Neelam and Singh were acquitted. Khan filed a criminal appeal against his sentence, while the state government filed permission to appeal against the acquittal of co-accused.
