Himachal Rains: Dharampur area of Mandi district suddenly caused a sudden flood on Monday night, causing the main bus stand and nearby commercial establishments.
Himachal Rains: Large -scale landslides and sudden floods occurred due to heavy rains in Himachal Pradesh, killing three members of the same family in Mandi district. A bus stand was also submerged. Officials said that many buses and other vehicles were washed away in the flood in Mandi district. There is also news of a person’s disappearance. Officials said that a house collapsed after a landslide in Baragta village of Mandi district, in which two women and a child died. Mandi Deputy Commissioner Apoorva Devgan told PTI-language that three bodies have been recovered, while two people have been rescued. The seriously injured people were taken to the nearest hospital. Flood in Son and Bharand drains
Flood waters cause great damage to public infrastructure and private property, in which some buses of Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) were swept away and damaged houses, shops and many vehicles. Officials said that due to rain, there was flood in Son and Bharand drains in Dharampur in Mandi district, causing water to a bus stand. Apart from this, a workshop, pump house, shops and more than 20 buses were damaged. Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, who also takes charge of the Transport Department, said that Dharampur bus stand, more than two dozen HRTC buses, shops, pump houses and workshops have been damaged.

Roads closed due to landslides in Shimla
In Shimla, where there was 141 mm of rain in 12 hours from Monday evening. In the middle of the city, several vehicles were buried after a landslide near Himland and the main circular road was blocked, causing inconvenience to the school going children. Gautam and Rahul Shukla said that it was raining heavy and at around 1 o’clock we heard the loud sound of trees and debris falling and immediately removed our vehicles from there. Officials said that BCS-Vikas city area, PMT colony, Jhanjari and some other areas of the city have also been flooded. Shimla received 141 mm of rain from Monday evening. This was followed by 135.2 in Nagrota Suri, 80 mm in Bhatiyat, 60.5 mm in Sundernagar, 54.4 mm in Brahmin, 54.2 mm in Guler, 52.6 mm in Mandi, 50.5 mm in Kangra and 50.5 mm in Mehra Barasar.
Loss of Rs 4,504 crore
Shimla, Jubbadhatti, Kangra, Bhuntar, Jot, Murari Devi and Sundernagar received thunderstorms with thunderstorms, while Bilaspur, Bajaura and Kufri had strong winds at a speed of 31 to 37 km per hour. The state has 650 roads closed in the state including three National Highways NH 3 (Attari-Leh Road), NH 305 (Aut-Sainge Road) and NH-503A (Amritsar-Bhota Road). According to the State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC), about 1250 power transformers and 160 water supply schemes have been disrupted. A total of 412 people have been killed in rain -related incidents and road accidents since the onset of monsoon in the state on 20 June, while 41 are still missing. A total of 232 people died in rain -related incidents, while 180 people were killed in road accidents. Officials said that Himachal has 46 cloudburst, 97 sudden floods and 140 landslides and so far the state has suffered a loss of Rs 4,504 crore. The state received an average rainfall of 1010.9 mm as compared to the normal rainfall of 692.1 mm during the ongoing monsoon season from June 1 to September 16, which is 46 percent more.
