UP News: In Bahraich district of Uttar Pradesh, two teenagers were killed by a villager angry at denying garlic sowing on Wednesday. After this, he closed himself in the room along with the family and set him on fire. The incident took place in Nindunpurwa Tapraha village. The fire brigade and the police reached the spot and controlled the fire. Four people, including husband and wife and two daughters, were burnt alive in this fire. Four cattle also died scorched. Village resident Vijay Kumar used to work in farming and animal husbandry. On Wednesday morning, Vijay called Suraj Yadav (14) son Lachhi Ram and Sunny Verma (13) son Omprakash of the village to the house for the sowing of garlic in the field. Both teenagers refused to work in the field, saying that the house was more work due to being the last day of Navratri. Angry with this, Vijay killed both of them with a sharp weapon in the courtyard of his house. After this, Vijay locked himself inside the room along with his wife and daughters and set the house on fire.
Villagers control the fire in the house
Police on Wednesday recovered the bodies of four members of a family and two teenagers from a fire in a house here. The police officer said that the throat of the two dead was found to be cut. Sub-Inspector Ayodhya Singh said that the incident took place at the house of farmer Vijay Kumar Maurya in Taperha village of Ramgaon police station area. The police officer told PTI-language that the house caught fire in the early hours of Wednesday. The villagers heard screams from inside. Sub-Inspector Ayodhya Singh said that after controlling the fire, the villagers and officials entered the house. The villagers found the mutilated bodies of two teenagers Sunny Verma (16) and Suraj Yadav (15) in a room, which caused serious injuries to the throat with a sharp weapon. Top officials reached the spot
Sub-Inspector Ayodhya Singh said that four cattle were also found to be burnt in the same room. Police officials said that two open gas cylinders have been found inside the burnt room, due to which there is a possibility of gas leak or deliberately intensifying the fire. The police is investigating the cause of the incident, but the initial interrogation of the villagers has indicated a dispute over work. Villagers told that Maurya was getting garlic crop in his field and both the deceased teenagers were working for him for three days. However, the police did not explain the reason behind the incident. Police and administrative officers including Devi Patan Mandal, Inspector General of Police, Amit Pathak, District Magistrate of Bahraich and SP Ram Nayan Singh reached the spot. Officials said that the bodies have been sent for postmortem and investigation is on.
