SP leader: SP leader Ram Gopal Yadav has given a big statement on SIR on Sunday. He said that if SIR is not discussed during the winter session, the Samajwadi Party will not allow Parliament to function. Said that special intensive revision has become a problem for the entire country. Even BLOs are dying under the pressure of work, but the Election Commission remains a mute spectator. The Samajwadi Party said on Sunday that if the special intensive revision of the voter list is not discussed during the winter session, it will not allow Parliament to function. After the all-party meeting called by the government a day before the winter session of Parliament, SP leader Ram Gopal Yadav stressed that the government cannot shy away from discussing the SIR as it is being done by the Election Commission.
Large scale irregularities in SIR
He said that if SIR is not discussed then we will not allow the House to function. Yadav said that Samajwadi Party has raised the issue of SIR because I have seen irregularities on a large scale. Earlier we used to listen, but now we are seeing that people’s votes are being deducted. There have been irregularities in Bihar also. We have demanded discussion on this (SIR). They cannot avoid this by citing the Election Commission. He said that the Election Commission has been created by the government and the creator is bigger than the created. Why can’t there be discussion when wrong things are happening?
Winter session starts from Monday
Said that if the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is removed, will there be no discussion? Yadav said that I have been to many places and am still travelling. I have been a voter since 1967. In Etawah district, all of us have been placed in category ‘C’. Everyone in the entire district has been kept in category ‘C’. There are seven MPs and three MLAs from both Houses of Parliament from our district, and each of them has been placed in Category ‘C’. This traditional meeting was called to ensure a smooth session, in which many new bills are to be introduced. The winter session is starting from Monday and will end on December 19. There will be a total of 15 meetings in this session, which the opposition has termed as a short session. Usually there are 20 meetings in a Parliament session.
